Editing Services

Developmental Edit - $0.008 per word
I will read your manuscript and provide you in-text notes and suggestions on large scale topics, such as character consistency, plot pacing, setting, and unclear passages. I will note plot holes and scenes that appear unnecessary.
If you have specific concerns, please include them in your inquiry, and I will prioritize that in my review. This includes an editorial report, so this part is very important.

Proofread - $0.005 per word
This is intended to be a final edit for a finished manuscript. I will read your manuscript and correct mechanical errors such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and incorrect word usage. I will fact-check to the best of my ability and according to your story world. I will also notate formatting inconsistencies.
I will include a custom style guide for your manuscript, referencing names, places, and setting details for the purpose of maintaining consistency.

While the pricing here is intended to ease the process, I am open to discounts on orders such as series discounts and editing bundles, as well as short pieces like query letters and synopses.
Currently, I am offering a 10% discount on series or editing bundles (where you’re booking your manuscript in for more than one style of editing, where I will perform one, allow you to revise it, and I will do the next round).
I also love editing short stories! So please reach out to discuss potential discounts for short story packages that can be more custom to your project.
